The effects of greenhouse gases, like CO2, are becoming more and visible, from drastic weather changes to global sea level rise. resultant warming has become an environmental issue great concern in recent years. potential for CO2 capture through metal-organic frameworks been widely studied is currently being explored as a way reduce gas emissions. strong structural electronic properties these make them excellent candidates capturing due their high porosity, tunable composition good chemical stability. Functionalized metal organic (MOFs) important because it allows the development MOF materials with that many different applications. Many functions adsorption, catalysis, separation. Depending on linkers nodes, various functional groups can be introduced into network resulting MOFs functions.
